I have got a weight off my mind this week by sorting out the insurance for the car. We are taking our UK registered car to Italy and have been struggling to find a UK insurer that would meet our needs (and not have to drive it back every 90 days!) finally i have found what we need and it does not cost the earth so i am very relieved that i can tick that off the list.
Next to be ticked off is to get the bits sorted out for the cat to be able to be transported, i have read all sorts of recommendations about how we should go about getting her over there and am not sure which to follow so i think it’s going to be a bit of trial and error!
Thinking of things that we will need to stock up on that we won’t be able to get hold of too. Reccy in Nov will help us work out what’s essential and what’s not!
1. Drive Less for and get a discount
Some carriers will discount your premium with a low-mileage discount if you drive less than 7,500 miles per year. Also ask your agent if you can receive a commuter discount for using public transportation.
Collision Coverage covers damage to your vehicle if your car hits or is hit by another vehicle, less your deductible.
