I need…

…to thank my wonderful friend Cat for designing and making me an amazing divine necklace that I’m totally in love with.  (You can find her here, so hop on over and leave a comment on her site and let her know how amazingly cute this necklace is!  Also, she does commissions!)

…to tell you all that I saw a marvelous performance of the Vagina Monologues tonight and that we should all fight to stop violence against women, especially sexual violence.

…to update you all on my new job after my first week.  It’s going swimmingly, by the way.  I may give you more of an update later, but for the time being, it’s great!

…to take pictures of what I’ve been up to recently.  (Here’s one:

…to post more yarn in my etsy shop (I have tons lying around, I just need to post it!).

…to actually remember to write on this blog from time to time, even when I’m tired after work and don’t feel like it.

…to find pretty things to take pictures of for my 30 Days of Beauty project.  I haven’t had much luck recently, with my whole life centering around a boring office building, my drab brown-snow-slowly-melting-commute, and my tiny apartment that I’ve already taken all the pictures of it I can.

…to get back to work on my Olympic knitting, that I have almost entirely neglected.

…to get my brain and butt into gear and actually start sketching out all the wonderful design ideas I have swimming currently in my brain!

…to tell you all about the awesome contest that my first real blogging friend, Kate, is having right now! Hop on over there right now, and check out her contest and especially her blog.  She started the Lace KAL I’m currently doing and was one of the first people who showed an interest in my blog.  She has (probably unknown to her) been a great bloggy inspiration to me and a good internetly friend who I can always count on to read what I write, good or bad.  While a lot of my real life friends read this blog (and I think ALL of you are wonderful and I love you!), it’s cool to know that I made at least one cyber friend through this blogging, so thanks Kate!
