There has not been enough said about the way congress is handling the healthcare debate. I am impressed that there is not enough confidence in what they are putting out there that is has to be mandated with a fines and penalties if you don’t sign up for it.
This is the problem. Healthcare insurance is not the same as car insurance, unless people have become property. Isn’t that slavery? The reason there is a legal position for car insurance is to protect your property as well as the other persons property. Included in that coverage is the minimum accident benefit for having to go to the hospital after an accident.
Healthcare on the other hand only affects the individual as it revolves around a persons health. Mandating this as a law with penalties and fines only means that we do not have control over our own bodies. I would think that the women of this country would revolt since they want abortions on demand but as the healthcare issue unfolds they will lose the control they fought for so long.
I know we are not going to run away from this, but it seems to me that congress still doesn’t get it. Congress, both the Dems and the Republicans, are both at fault here.
So I hope that as you have proposed a plan and prescribed it for the country that one day you will feel the pinch for yourself. What is sounds like to me is “do as I say not as I do.”
And that’s the way I see it today!!
1. Drive Less for and get a discount
Some carriers will discount your premium with a low-mileage discount if you drive less than 7,500 miles per year. Also ask your agent if you can receive a commuter discount for using public transportation.
Collision Coverage covers damage to your vehicle if your car hits or is hit by another vehicle, less your deductible.
