Since Esurance (auto insurance) began airing its television commercials Erin has been its super secret agent. You wouldn’t know where she was going to show up next, but you did know two very important things…

1) She was going to somehow defeat the evil robot bad guys with the power of car insurance.

2) Erik would be somewhere near by.

In the first commercial Erin met Erik when he was working as a car salesman, and she told him all about Esurance. She then continued to run into him at baseball games and the like. You know the usual places where one would fight evil robots determined to raise insurance prices. But then something changed, Erik somehow became her partner and they fought the enemies of Esurance together.

This finally all culminated in heartwarming commercial dedicated to their love…

You tell me what the hell that commercial has to do with insurance?

Unfortunately soon after a terrible thing happened. Erik disappeared! I’ve been watching all the commercials but I haven’t see hide or hair of him all year. Erin just keeps going around animating random ‘real’ people. What is this crap? First they emotionally invest me in this couple, and then they take it all away without explanation! I will not stand for it.
