ADI (Approved Driving Instructor)

What is ADI certification?

The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is the regulatory body for driving instruction in Ireland. Driving instructors who meet the standard set by the RSA will become Approved Driving Instructors (ADI). An ADI Registrar based in the RSA heads up the unit responsible for the registration process. The ADI Registrar will set up a Stakeholders Forum to give a chance to those involved in driving instruction to have their say.

Why do we need it?

To provide learner drivers with the best in driving tutition and to promote safety in irish driving schools. ADI gives the instructor the knowledge to make a difference in driving tutition.

What is the Goal?
